British Columbia Tourism Region : Vancouver Island
- Lasqueti - Named by Narvaez in 1791 after Juan Maria Lasqueti, a prominent Spanish naval officer.
- Lindbergh Island - So named, at the request of its American owner, shortly after Colonel Lindbergh's famous trans-Atlantic flight.
- At the time it was noted by Captain H.D. Parizeau, the West Coast hydrographer, that this is a very tiny island to name after so famous a man.
- With permission from G.P.V and Helen B. Akrigg 1997 British Columbia Place Names. UBC Press.
