British Columbia Tourism Region : Thompson Okanagan
- Conkle Lake after William H. Conkle, who settled in the Kettle Valley in the 1890s.
- Crick Creek after a local landowner, James H. Crick. A very minor stream, it is noted here only because of its delightful name. Authentic western pronunciation would, of course, make it 'Crick Crick.'
- With permission from G.P.V and Helen B. Akrigg 1997 British Columbia Place Names. UBC Press.
