Koster - After Henry Koster, a part-Indian boy adopted in the late nineteenth century by the landlady of the Clinton Hotel. Hearing the local government agent say 'These half-breeds are no good!'
he set out to prove him wrong and embarked upon a career that made him one of the cattle barons of the Cariboo.
