Gosnell - After R. Edward Gosnell (1860-1931), who came to British Columbia as a newspaperman in 1888.
He was the first Provincial Librarian (1893-8) and the first Provincial Archivist (1908-10). He was a prolific writer on British Columbia and served the provincial government in a variety of positions.
