Tribune Bay - After HMS Tribune (Captain G.T.P. Hornby), a screw frigate mounting thirty-one guns, transferred to this coast from the China Station in 1859 to increase British strength during the San Juan crisis.
The frigate left for England in 1860 but returned in 1864.
