Albreda River, flows S. into N. Thompson R.
In 1863, when Viscount Milton and Dr. Cheadle travelled from the Yellowhead Pass to the North Thompson River on their overland journey to the Pacific.
They named the lake (now filled in) at the head of this river after Milton's Aunt Albreda (Lady Lyveden).
