Fairview - This district was named by L.A. Hamilton, the CPR land commissioner.
A newspaper advertisement announced in 1891 that 'the clearing of the Land being nearly completed in that new and beautifully situated part of the VANCOUVER TOWNSITE, known as FAIRVIEW,' the CPR was now offering lots for sale.
