Description From Owner:

Hood Point - After Sir Alexander Hood (1727-1814), Admiral of the Blue, second in command to Lord Howe at the latter's victory over the French in 1794, in the battle known as 'The Glorious First of June.'
Later Hood rose to the dignity of Viscount Bridport.
Horseshoe Bay - So named because of its shape.
Queen Charlotte Channel - After HMS Queen Charlotte, Lord Howe's flagship when he won his great victory 'The Glorious First of June' in 1794.
