Description From Owner:

Maillardville - After the Reverend Edmond Maillard, OMI, of St. Malo in Brittany.
He became the first priest of the Roman Catholic parish of Our Lady of Lourdes, founded in 1909 to minister to the spiritual needs of French-Canadian millworkers recently brought from Quebec to work in the Fraser Mills. Maillard died in France in 1966,
aged eighty-six.
