Soda Creek - Takes its name from the white alkali powder that dries on the rocks.
Tingley Creek - After Stephen Tingley, handyman and driver for the BX (Barnard's Express). In 1868 he went to New Mexico and brought back 400 horses for the company's stock farm.
He was the most famous of the coach drivers on the Cariboo Road.
