Tingley Creek
- Soda Creek - Takes its name from the white alkali powder that dries on the rocks.
- Tingley Creek - After Stephen Tingley, handyman and driver for the BX (Barnard's Express). In 1868 he went to New Mexico and brought back 400 horses for the company's stock farm.
- He was the most famous of the coach drivers on the Cariboo Road.
