Description From Owner:
- Mount Elphinstone - This mountain on Howe Sound was presumably named after Captain J. Elphinstone, who commanded HMS Glory in Howe's famous naval victory in 1794 known as 'The Glorious First of June.'
- Roberts Creek - After Thomas Roberts, who built a cabin for his family here on the Sechelt peninsula in 1889. This creek was the boundary between the Squamish Indians to the south and the Sechelt Indians to the north.
- With permission from G.P.V and Helen B. Akrigg 1997 British Columbia Place Names. UBC Press.
