Wilson Creek - Although this is sometimes said to have been named after Canon G.H. Wilson of St. Michael's Anglican Church, Vancouver,
who built a cottage on a lot that he bought here in 1914, the original Wilson of Wilson Creek appears to have been James Wilson, who in the 1890s was a blacksmith in the Burns and Jackson logging camp here.
