We were staying close to Gannon’s narrows wanted fish and chips. This place is about 20 minutes from our cottage. I had the pickerel which was pan fried and came with home cut fries and coleslaw the fish was outstanding. Nice and fresh pan fry with very light breading only needed the splash of lemon no tatter sauce needed at all. My wife had the battered cod with onions rings. Batter was nice a light and very good. Also had the barking squirrel beer nice and cold. I would of given a 5 out of 5 but the fries were good but a few slightly under done. We came for the fish and it was excellent.

The Greek feta burger was really good and perfect portion, the dining room was very inviting and elegant

Wonderful location for boaties. While waiting for the lock, do make a beeline for Sue’s shop! It’s literally right beside the lock. The cutest little doggo there to greet you with . Best ice cream in town!

The place was amazing. Food is all home cooked and fresh. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We had Shawna as our server and she was absolutely delightful. Always a smile and very helpful. Wish I could show you a picture of the food but it was so delicious we ate before we could remember to take a picture. This will be a regular pit stop for all my travels along Hwy 7.
