Porch Dog Coffee – A division of Autumn Heights & Co, Warkworth

Bambi Clemente on 22-Mar-25
I love the ALL BARK NO BITE decaf and AJ’s Half and Half. I’ve never had coffee that the tasting notes are apparent until I had Porch Dog coffee blend. In a day that I need a strong coffee flavour Unleashed is my go to. Glad to have found Porch Dog coffee. Locally roasted with a good cause too.

Your Independent Grocer (Village of Hastings), Hastings

I was accidentally charged for an extra item. I called them and they were very good about it. I took in my receipt the next day and was reimbursed for the item. Everyone makes mistakes upon ocassion. How they are handled is everything. They were very professional and pleasant to deal with. Actually, they are always nice to deal with. I highly recommend the store. It is always clean, with fresh produce and the meat is great!

The Cheese Trap Campbellford, Campbellford

Kierstynn Westall on 14-Mar-25
The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The menu is large and will definitely have an option for everyone. The owner cares about quality and safety in the store - I asked for a sandwich with ham, but ham has been recalled, and he was straightforward about it. The food was fresh and delicious! Definitely give the homemade ketchup a try. It is delicious.

Nicholson Bros Concrete, Excavating & Landscape Supplies, Campbellford

Michelle Simson on 14-Mar-25
Not only does Nicholson Bros. do exceptional work, but they are outstanding community contributors. I haven't been to Campbellford in a few weeks so I was thrilled to see they had hoisted a huge Canadian flag on the end of one of their cranes. Way to go!!! Hope other businesses and residents follow suit!

The Nook Cafe, Hastings, Ontario, Hastings

Sue is very kind and friendly, all while providing the best coffee in town. There’s something about people where you just feel how genuine they are. A nice hidden spot in town with kind people, who you’ll find yourself talking with for hours. You can just walk in and find yourself at home. The Nook is right!
